A User in Dispatch Science is anyone who logs into the platform using a unique username and password. Each user is assigned a role that determines their permissions. The Admin role has the highest level of access.
Creating a New User
To add a new user, follow these steps:
Navigate to Settings > System, then click New User.
Fill in all required fields (marked with a red asterisk *).
Select the appropriate User Role from the dropdown menu.
User Roles and Permissions
Dispatch Science provides several predefined user roles. You can also create or modify roles under Settings > Configurations > System > Roles.
Role | Permissions |
---|---|
Admin | Full access to all system features. |
CSR (Customer Service Representative) | Can create and edit orders, accounts, users, and contacts. Can view drivers and the dispatch board but cannot dispatch orders. |
CSR (Limited Access) | Same as CSR but cannot access accounts. |
Dispatcher | Same as CSR plus can edit drivers and dispatch orders. |
Dispatcher (No Price) | Same as Dispatcher but cannot view pricing. |
Dispatcher (No Price, No Commission) | Same as Dispatcher but cannot view pricing or commissions. |
Dispatcher (Limited Access) | Same as Dispatcher but cannot access accounts. |
Salesperson | No system access but can be assigned to accounts as a salesperson. |
Warehouse Worker | Can access the warehouse tab in the Driver App. |

Passwords must have at least 12 characters and include:Uppercase and lowercase letters

The same email address cannot be used across different Dispatch Science customers.Role Management:

Users cannot be deleted but can be archived using the Archive button in user settings.User Notifications:
Notifications are not sent automatically. Customers must inform users when access has been granted.Contact Languages:
Languages are limited to your tenant’s available set. To request changes, contact Dispatch Science Support.User Activity Logs:
To review activity logs, click the Audit icon in the top-right corner when modifying a user.
