Visual Guidelines for Drivers with Suggested Orders

This article outlines how Dispatch Science displays drivers who have suggested orders. These visual cues appear consistently across the Map Board, Grid Board, Driver Popover, and Driver Detail Sliding Panel.


1. Map Board: Driver List

When viewing the Driver List on the Map Board, the following rules apply:

  • Driver display name should be a clickable link in blue.

  • An orange badge appears at the top-right corner of the driver’s image.

    • The badge contains the vehicle icon and driver number.

  • All other text should be displayed in black or grey.

2. Grid Board: Driver List

When viewing the Driver List on the Grid Board:

  • Driver display name should be a blue link.

  • An orange badge appears to the right of the driver’s number and vehicle icon.

  • All remaining text should appear in orange.

3. Shared Visual: Driver Popover

The Driver Popover, used across both board types, displays the following if the driver has one or more suggested orders:

  • An orange badge is shown at the top-right of the driver’s avatar.

4. Driver Detail Sliding Panel

In the Driver Detail Sliding Panel, suggested orders are highlighted with specific formatting:

  • An orange badge appears at the top-right of the driver’s image, showing the vehicle and driver number.

  • In both the Stop List Tab and Order List Tab:

    • Suggested orders are shown as blue links.

    • All other text is displayed in orange.
