Before you can start using your Symbol CS3070, please follow the below setup procedure.
The scanner must be setup to emulate a keyboard, scan the data as is, without adding any prefixes and suffixes. You will need to connect through Bluetooth, your scanner to your phone.
Setup the Scanner
Turn on the scanner.
Connect Scanner to Phone
Turn on the scanner.
Connect through Bluetooth on your phone where the Driver App is installed by pressing on the round button until it starts flashing blue rapidly:
Tap on the CS3070 device to select it then scan the code indicated for the pairing with the scanner using the below barcodes then scan Enter.
The scanner will be paired with the phone.
Use the Scanner in Dispatch Science
The scanner can be used to scan barcodes in the Warehouse module through warehouse or checkpoint.
The scanner can be used to scan barcodes in My Run checkpoint.
The scanner can be used to scan barcodes at pickup and at delivery.
When scanner window opens (in one of the above section), using the scanner press on the + button to scan the barcode
The barcode will show up on the scanner window in the Driver App.
If the barcode is not found it will give an error message if the driver is not allowed to add items for this account or if permitted, driver will be asked if item should be added.
