If the scanner is not able to scan a barcode, the barcode type should be enabled in both the Account Order Options setting in Dispatch Science as well as in the Scanner.
Identify the barcode type
1) Identify the barcode type by reviewing your barcode with the following site:
https://www.barcodefaq.com/barcode-match/
Verify if the barcode type is enabled within Dispatch Science for this Account
1) Open the Account then navigate to Order Options and scroll down to the Supported Barcode Formats:
2) If your barcode format is not part of the above, the barcode is not supported by Dispatch Science. If the barcode type is part of the above but not visible in the Account, click in the field, then from the drop-down, click on the barcode type to add.
3) Save.
Once this change is done, make sure to log out of the Driver App and log back in.
Scanner Setup
On the Scanner:
1) Open Datalogic Settings .
2) Open Scanner & decoder:
3) Tap on Symbology settings
4) Tap the barcode type (here is typing on the Code 128)
5) Enable the barcode type
