During order creation, CSR or account user will be able to type in the contact name or the company name in the Contact field. When typing a company, the contact drop-down will show all contacts added for the company.

When entering an address in Address Line 1, the drop-down changed to show, beside the address name, 2 new icons as well as the contact name, telephone and company:

address is associated to a contact. You can see the contact name in the list

Order List Search

You can search by the contact company name from the generic search.

Order Details Driver Info

The driver and his/her commission is visible from the Back Office Order Details' Driver Info once an order was dispatched and accepted by the driver or picked up.

You can now edit the commission of a driver as well as add new drivers to an order from the Driver Info.
Note: Driver Info tab is only visible in the Order Details when an order has been dispatched to a driver and driver either accepted the order or completed the pickup.

Fuel Surcharge on Extra Fees on Orders

Fuel surcharge can now be calculated on extra fees. This must be setup in the Extra Fee Schedule (see below in Administration section).

The fuel surcharge will be calculated on the delivery price and on the extra fees setup to have a fuel surcharge.

When a vehicle is modified on an order, the fuel surcharge on delivery and on the extra fee will be modified automatically to use the fuel surcharge on the new vehicle unless you keep the original price.

This will show on the Order details as well as the Dispatch Board Order Details and be recalculated when the vehicle, extra fee quantity or price is updated unless the user specifies to keep price when modifying the vehicle.

Dispatch Board

Order List Search

You can search by the contact company name from the generic search. The orders, although not showing address line 2, will be filtered to show the orders having the company name on the contact.

Stop List

There are 2 changes that were done on the Stop List: addition of driver home and locking of a set of deliveries, setup in the database.

Driver Home Icon

The driver home icon will now display when reviewing the stop list from the driver if a home address was specified in the driver profile.

Lock x Orders on Stop List

This feature allows the locking of the first x stops in a driver's stop list. This will ensure that the first stops of a drivers will not re-optimize when new orders are dispatched while the driver is completing his/her first stops. This is setup in the database across all drivers.

If you want to use this feature, please contact [email protected] and request to lock orders on the driver stop list specifying the site URL as well as the number of stops.

View locked orders on stop list

1) Open Dispatch Board

2) Click on Drivers

3) Click on a driver

4) Click on Stop List

Locked orders are shown at the top of the stop list with a hashed yellow background and a lock:

Moving orders on the stop list

If an urgent order comes in, you will be able to move it to the locked list by dragging and dropping it to one of the top locked position.

1) Bring the cursor on the left hand side of a stop (below the stop number) and you will see the drag icon

2) Drag the stop in one of the 3 stops at the top and release it.

3) The last stop on the locked list will move down to the unlocked section and will be re-optimized if needed once an order is either added or removed from the driver.

Extra Fee Schedule

Addition of Fuel Surcharge on the Extra Fee is now available on the Extra Fee Schedule.

You can now enter a per unit as a decimal between 0 and 1 for your extra fee.

Fuel Surcharge on Extra Fees

Fuel surcharge can be set to be added on an extra fee in the Extra Fee Schedule.

1) Click on Pricing then click on Extra Fees and open an Extra Fee Schedule

2) In the Extra Fee Schedule details, check the Fuel Surcharge checkbox located at the far right of an extra fee row to have the fuel surcharge assigned to the vehicle calculated on the total of the extra fee.

3) Click on Save.

Per Unit on Extra Fee Modification

In the Per field on an extra fee, you can now enter a value between 0 and 1 with a maximum of 2 decimals. The calculation will be:  Round to next integer (Unit entered / Per) then multiply by the price.

For instance, if you setup the mileage extra fee to the following:

For example, if an order's calculated mileage is between pickup and delivery is 15.25;

The calculation of the mileage extra fee will be:

15.25 miles / 0.1 miles = 152.5 - round to next integer = 153.  153* $0.18 = 27.45.

Previously this would have been entered as $1.80 per 1 mile

15.25 rounded to the next integer = 16. 16* $1.80 per mile =$28.80.

Accounting Profile

New adjustment postings were added to the accounting profile. Make sure to fill these in after deployment to ensure the postings are not disrupted. For more information, see Transactions.
