Route Recurrences allow you to link recurring delivery routes to specific Route Plans, enabling better organization and placement within the appropriate Route Container.
Once created, Route Recurrences can be edited, but cannot be deleted if they are being used in a Route Plan.
Creating a Route Recurrence
Navigate to Orders > Recurrence.
Click the New drop-down and select Route Recurrence.
A simplified recurrence form will open.
Configure the Recurrence
Enter a Name for the Route Recurrence.
(Optional) Set up Exceptions:
Click the Exceptions button.
Add specific dates and/or calendars, then click Save.
Orders will not be created if the exception date matches the Route Start Date.
Click Add Template to include an Order Template:
Start typing to search for templates.
Only Recurrence-type Order Templates are supported.
Check Override to manually define pickup/delivery windows if needed.
Repeat step 6 for all templates you want to include.
(Optional) Add Template Exceptions:
Orders won’t be created if the Order Ready At date matches an exception date.
Click Create.
Route Recurrences are managed through the Route Plan and cannot be started or stopped from the Recurrence screen.
Recurring Order List
A Type column indicates whether the recurrence is an Order or a Route.
Route Recurrences always display a Stopped status, as execution is managed from the associated Route Plan.
Route Recurrences can only be used with ZIP-Based Route Plans.
