These features will be available in your Test environment on September 8th and will be available in Pre-production on September 12th.


New features included in this release

Definition

The release notes refer to different sections of the application:

Back Office: Where Customer Service Representatives (CSR) create and edit orders, create accounts, review drivers, etc.

Dispatch Board: Where Dispatchers assign orders to drivers, get notifications for invalid orders, etc.

Auto-Dispatch: This section refers to the automated order assignment setup and its process.

Administration: This section is in the Back Office but refers to sections only an administrator will use like Settings and Pricing.

Customer Portal: Where account users log in to create orders, view their order history, enter a credit card, etc.

Tracking site: Where customers enter a tracking number like the order ID or a reference number to view the status of their order.

OData: Data fields and variables saved in OData

Settlements

View Settlements for Sub-Contractors

Master contractor can now view settlements from sub-contractors on their Driver App if setup in Driver Information Details section. 

1) Open Driver App and login as a Master Contractor.

2) Scroll down on Home tab to see the Settlement section and tap on > to view all settlements.

You can now see the settlements from sub-contractors in the Settlement list.

Orders

Driver Payout

An information icon has been added to the Order details Driver beside the payout to give more information about the Driver Commission. You will now see the split of the Commission by delivery, fuel surcharge and total extra fees.

By hovering on the i beside the commission, you will see the breakdown:

Recurrences

Recurrence Order Charges and Driver Payout for Order Templates

In the Recurrences, you will now be able to see more information including a preliminary Order price and the Driver commission, if a driver is assigned, when clicking on the Rates icon above the Order Template list. This will allow the user to verify that the templates are correctly configured.

1. Open a Recurrence

2. Navigate to the Order Templates section and click on the  icon to view the Rates information.

If there were changes not yet saved, you will be asked to save before switching to the Rates tab. 

3. The Rates tab shows the Template, assigned Driver if any, estimated rates at the time of the Template last update and without the fuel surcharge, estimated commission at the time of the Template last update and without the fuel surcharge, and the date and time of the Template's last update. 

The Assigned Driver is selected according the the following order of priority:
1. Assigned on the Recurrence Order Template
2. If no Driver is assigned at the Order Template, the Driver assigned at the Recurrence will be selected
3. If no Driver is assigned at the Recurrence, the Driver on the Template will be selected.
This information is available on the i located beside the Assigned Driver header.

You can modify the template by clicking on the beside the template name.

You can change the template by clicking on the template name to select another template from the drop-down.

You can delete a template by clicking on the  at the end of the row.


Reason for Change Note when Modifying a Recurrence or Order Template

A new Reason for Change feature is available when modifying a Recurrence or an Order Template. This feature can be turned on by contacting Support. 

If the feature is turned on, when user saves a modification on a Recurrence or an Order Template, the Reason for Change feature will popup and request user to enter the reason for the change:

Enter the reason, click on Save.


Audit on Recurrences and Order Templates

A new Audit icon () is displayed on the page for both Recurrences and Order Templates. By clicking on the icon, you will be taken to the Audit page filtered on the item.

In order for internal users to see the Audit icon, the following right needs to be set on their role:


Ability to change the account and account user on an Order Template

The Account and user can now be modified on an Order Template. 

1. Open an Order Template.

2. Click Edit in the Customer Info section.

3. Start typing the Account or User name or user phone number and select from the list:

4. The following warning will appear if modifying the User while keeping the same Account:

5. Click Save to save the changes. Review the changes that could have happened before closing the Order Template.

Accounts

Account Main Address

If an address is not found, you can now use the +Enter from Zip/Postal Code:

1. Open an existing account and click Edit or create a new account.

2. In the Address section, if you start typing the address and the address is not found, click on +Enter address from Zip/Postal Code:

3. In the dialog box, enter the Zip/Postal Code first and select it from the list. This will automatically bring the position to the center of the Zip/Postal Code, fill in the city and State/Province and you will be able to zoom in using the + to bring the position to the correct address or you can type in the Latitude and Longitude. If the Zip/Postal Code is not available in the list, enter it and you will be able to enter the Latitude and Longitude manually. 

4. Enter Address Line 1, City and State/Province if the Zip/Postal Code did not fill it in automatically.

5. Click on Save to save the address. 

Do not forget to save on the Account details page.


Audit on Accounts

A new Audit icon () is displayed on the Account details page. By clicking on the icon, you will be taken to the Audit page filtered on the Account where you can see configuration and settings changes.

In order for internal users to see the Audit icon, the following right needs to be set on their role:


New Barcode Type Setting

A new Barcode type setting is available at the Account level under Order Options. If an Account uses a specific, harder to read barcode type, you will be able to set that Account to read only that special barcode. 

Only barcode types selected on the Account will be recognized when scanned by the driver.


Remove a barcode type

1. Open an Account.

2. Click Edit in Order Options.

3. By default, all supported barcode types will be selected in the Supported Barcode Format field. 

4. Remove the barcode types by clicking on the X to only keep the ones used by the Account or click in a blank spot in the field to list all the supported barcode types and click the selected barcodes to unselect them:

To Add a barcode type:

1. Open an Account.

2. Click Edit in Order Options.

3. In the Supported Barcode Format field, click in a blank spot to list the supported barcodes and click on the barcode to add it to the box.

4. Click Save.


Drivers

Driver Address

If an address is not found, you can now use +Enter from Zip/Postal Code:

New Options for Drivers

In Driver Information Details, there are two new check box options below "Reports to":

Master Contractors can now see their Sub-contractors' settlements on the Driver App.

Sub-contractors may be prevented from viewing their settlements on the Driver App.


Setup Master Contractors to see their Sub-contractors' settlements:

1. Open the Master Contractor Driver from the Driver List and click Edit in the Information Details section.

2. Scroll down to view the 2 new options:

3. Check Prevent Drivers That Report To This Driver From Viewing Settlements to prevent the Master Contractor's Sub-Contractors from viewing their settlements on their Driver App. 

In order for this feature to work, Sub-contractors will need to have the Reports To field filled with the Master Contractor Driver.

4. Check Allow Viewing Settlements for Drivers That Report To This Driver to allow the Master Contractor to view his/her sub-contractors' settlements in the Driver App along with his/her own Settlement.  

5. Click on Save. 


Ability to see the Audit for a specific Driver

A new Audit icon () is displayed on the Driver details page. By clicking on the icon, you will be taken to the Audit page filtered on the Driver where you can Audit the Account and Profile Information of a specific Driver.

In order for internal users to see the Audit icon, the following right needs to be set on their role:

Ability to see the Audit for a specific Price List 

A new Audit icon  () is displayed on the Price list details page. By clicking on the icon, you will be taken to the Audit page filtered on the Price List where you can Audit changes made to a specific Price List

Dispatch Board and Grid

New Unassigned Filter

There is now a new Unassigned filter at the bottom of the drop down menu on both the Dispatch Board and the Dispatch Board Grid. This will show all Orders that are in Received status as well as any orders that are not yet Delivered or Cancelled which have no Driver assigned.

Administration

Addresses

Bulk Edit Contacts and Addresses

You can now edit the Contact addresses from different Accounts as a Bulk Edit. You can also edit multiple addresses or combination of contacts and addresses.

When selecting contacts from different accounts, you will be able to change the Company, Address Line 1 and 2.

Audit

New Entities Available

The Audit is now available for Recurring Orders, Drivers and Price Lists.

1. Open Settings, System, Audit.

2. Select Search By Entity and select the Entity Type:

3. To search for all entries, check Search All Entities

To search for a specific entity, uncheck Search All Entities and enter its ID:

The ID can be found by navigating to it and looking for the ID at the end of the URL

The following column has been added to the OData Order Charges table:

LastUpdated

The field will give the date and time when the Order Charge was last modified.
