How to create a New contact

You can create a new contact directly from the Addresses section without needing to open an Account.


Steps to Create a New Contact:

  1. Open the Address Menu
  2. Click on New Address to open the drop-down sub-menu.

  3. Select Contact
    Click on Contact to open the New Contact window.
    Begin typing the Account name or number, and select the appropriate account from the list.

    ? This field is required.

  4. Attach to User (Optional)
    Optionally, associate the contact with a specific user by entering their name or phone number.

  5. Enter Company (Optional)
    Add a company name if applicable.

  6. Enter Contact Name
    Provide the full name of the contact.

    ? This field is required.

  7. Enter Phone Number
    Provide a valid phone number.

    ? This field is required.

  8. Enter Email (Optional)
    Add an email address if available.

  9. Select Contact Language
    Choose the preferred language for the contact.

    ? This field is required.

  10. Enter Address
    In Address Line 1, begin typing the address and select it from the list.
    If the address isn’t listed, click + Enter address from Zip/Postal Code. This will place a pin in the center of the postal code area, which you can move to the exact location.

    ? This field is required.

  11. Suite/Apt (Optional)
    Enter any suite or apartment number if applicable.

  12. Load/Unload Time (Optional)
    Enter the time (in minutes) for loading or unloading.

  13. Set as Default Contact (Optional)
    Choose whether this contact should be the default contact for the Account or User.

    ⚠️ This will update the existing default contact for the selected entity.

  14. Add Note & Save
    Enter any relevant notes, then click Save to create the contact.
