1. What are Map Boards, and how are they used in this release?

In version 1.69, Map Boards were introduced as a new feature. These boards are accessible as a tab on the Grid Board. You can navigate between the Grid and Map boards and create multiple Map Boards with different filters. This allows for an enhanced, customizable view of dispatch information.

2. How do I switch between Grid and Map Boards?

You can navigate between Grid and Map Boards easily in version 1.69. when you click on Dispatch (),  , you will automatically be directed to the Boards. If a default board is set, all available boards (Grid and Map) will appear in the horizontal board list. If no board is set as default, or if no board exists, you will be directed to the Board list where you can select an existing board or create a new one.

3. What happens if no default board is set?

If no default board is set or if no board exists, you will be directed to the Board List, where you can select an existing board or create a new one.

4. What is the purpose of the Home Icon on the Map and Grid Boards?

The Home Icon appears on the Map and Grid Boards when a driver’s Return Home option is checked in their Driver Options. It indicates the driver’s home location on the map. This icon is shown in the driver’s specific color and provides a visual reference of the driver’s home location.

5. How does the Home Icon appear on the Map Board?

When you open a Map Board, select a driver, and then open the Stop List tab, the Map will filter to show the driver’s workload with a rainbow road. If the driver’s Return Home option is checked, the home location will be displayed as a Home Icon()  in the driver’s color on the map.

6. How does the Home Icon appear on a Grid Board?

Similarly, when you open a Map on a Grid Board, and then select a driver and open the Stop List tab, the Map will filter to show the driver’s workload with the rainbow road. If the driver has the Return Home option enabled, the home location will appear as a Home Icon ()  in the driver’s assigned color on the map.

7. Can I have multiple Map Boards with different filters?

Yes, you can create multiple Map Boards, each with different filters applied, just like with Grid Boards. This allows you to customize your view and focus on specific data as needed.

8. Can I create new boards directly from the Dispatch screen?

Yes, when no default board is set, or if no board exists, you can create a new board directly from the Board List that appears after clicking on Dispatch.
