This release includes several new features and bug fixes.

Definition


The release notes refer to different sections of the application:

Back Office: Where Customer Service Representatives (CSR) create and edit orders, create accounts, review drivers, etc.

Dispatch Board: Where Dispatchers assign orders to drivers, get notifications for invalid orders, etc.

Auto-Dispatch: This section refers to the automated order assignment setup and its process.

Administration: This section is in the Back Office but refers to sections only an administrator will use like Settings and Pricing.

Customer Portal: Where account users log in to create orders, view their order history, enter a credit card, etc.

Tracking site: Where customers enter a tracking number like the order ID or a reference number to view the status of their order.

Back Office

Entering an order pickup or delivery address did not require selection of an address

When entering the pickup or delivery address, address selection was not required. This allowed addresses to be entered without geocoding. If an address is not selected in the drop-down, the typed in address will be blanked.



Duplicated extra fee problem on the Order Screen

When CSR edited an order that contained duplicated extra fees entered by a Dispatcher, only the first one of the duplicated extra fee was visible.


The addition of extra fees did not save when editing an order

When editing an order and adding optional extra fees, the extra fees did no save correctly.


Entering a Delivery time later or earlier than calculated reverted back to the calculated delivery window

When creating an order, entering a delivery to time that was earlier or later than the calculated delivery window would revert back to the calculated window. 


Customer Portal

Service level filter on Order list does not filter

When attempting to filter on the order list by service level, the list of orders did not filter.


Once an order is created, the link to the order in order is not working

After an order was created on the Customer Portal, the user was returned to the order list. The link to the order was giving an error message.

User was able to enter more than 2 decimals on the fuel surcharge.
